Community Family Health Centres
A 6,000 square foot Community Family Health Centre with space for four physicians opened in September, 2011. In addition to four family physicians, the Phase I space will include a Physio Therapy Clinic. The site provides for a future phase II expansion which will accommodate an additional four family physicians. It is located in Thornbury (Town of The Blue Mountains) and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and computer systems including electronic charting (Electronic Records Management/ERM systems).
A similar Health Centre is planned for the Municipality of Meaford. Completion is expected to be sometime in 2013 / 2014.
